•Awarded to both Large and M​​id/Small size health insurance companies (based on premiums) ​


This award would be given to health insurance company which will demonstrate industry leadership through:

Product Innovation
Show evidence of sustainable business growth and profitability in its health insurance portfolio
Show evidence of active promotion of the importance of health insurance as a means of protecting the population against ill health
Claim Processing and Settlement Time
Use of modern tools and technology to improve claims experience and customer service for policyholders
Verifiable policyholder/clients’ testimonials
Initiative which can include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Initiative, Population Health Initiative or Public Health Initiative taken by the business at a national level in promoting social inclusion, sustainable communities, promoting public health and wellbeing of the community and the impact achieved through the initiative​

Medical Provider of the Year

Sub-Level: Medical Service Providers​

Brief Description: The award will recognize medical providers which have made an impact in the healthcare sector through major investment ,partnership ,business deal in the past one year and introduced innovative initiatives that made a positive impact on its customer satisfaction and healthcare industry

This award will be based on the classification of Medical Providers:

Awarded to both Large and Mid/Small size healthcare providers (based on the number of beds) ​

The award will recognize medical providers which have made an impact in the healthcare sector through major investment ,partnership ,business deal in the past one year and introduced innovative initiatives that made a positive impact on its customer satisfaction and healthcare industry

Show Evidence of sustainable business growth

The impact of the business deal, partnership or major investment that provider has made and its impact on the wider healthcare sector in KSA
Launched program/initiative to promote public health and well-being
The CSR initiative taken by the business at a national level in promoting social inclusion, sustainable communities and wellbeing of the society and the impact achieved through the initiative
Launched innovative Initiative/Initiatives that have positive impact on customer satisfaction ​


Third Award

​Third Party Administrator (TPAs) of the Year

Level: Organization Level

Sub-Level: TPAs

Brief Description: Awarded for demonstrating leadership in providing efficient and effective third-party administration services to help health insurers improve the health outcomes of their insured members


The award will be given to TPAs which will demonstrate:​

Capacity to handle large claims without prejudice to service levels
Clear evidence of harnessing technology and software solutions to create efficiencies in service levels
Evidence of specific initiatives taken to detect and combat fraud and data privacy issues​

Best Achiever Award

With the Sub-Level (Health Insurance Companies) this Award category will have two sub-categories, one for the C-Suite and one for the Young Achiever

Level: Organization Level

Sub-Level: Health Insurance Companies

Brief Description for C-Suite: This award will be presented to the C-Suite of an insurance company who has made an outstanding contribution in the last 12 months through the advancement of the company that employs him and the wider health insurance industry
Brief Description for Young Achiever: Award will recognize the professionals under the age of 35 who have made significant advancement in their professional development and has made mark outside their employer organization


Evaluation Criteria for C-Suite

The award will be given to C-Suite executive who will demonstrate:

Corporate growth, achievements, recognition, performance and positive financial results reflective of leadership
Outstanding contribution the C-suite executive has made to the success of the health insurance industry through his career

Evaluation Criteria for Young Achiever

The award will be given to professional working in health insurance company under the age of 35. The judges will be looking for person who has achieved the following:

Made significant strides in his/her professional development
Can clearly demonstrate his/her contribution to the organization, team or department in which he or she works
Has made a mark outside their employer, either on a macro industry level or through business aligned activities

This Award will have two sub-categories, one for the Health Insurance Companies and one for the Medical Service Providers

Brief Description for Insurance Companies: The Award will be given to insurance companies which will demonstrate an excellent level of customer care backed by clear standards: Speed of claim settlement, Ease of communicating with insurer, Transparency and ease of process and employee knowledge and professionalism
Brief Description for Medical Service Providers: The award will be given to a medical service provider that has taken initiatives to deliver improved patient experience centered around patient journey from start to finish (From getting an appointment to receiving healthcare)​


Evaluation Criteria for Health Insurance Companies

The award will be given to health Insurance Company which will demonstrate:

Speed of Claim Settlement: Turnaround time for claim settlement
Proof of impact of customer care strategy on client retention levels and satisfaction
That they have in place a transparent procedure  together with efficient communication means (mobile app-based support, email and phone support) to assist customer with policy negotiations, claim processing and clarifications on premiums

The award will be given to a medical service provider that has taken initiatives to deliver improved patient experience centered around patient journey from start to finish (From getting an appointment to receiving healthcare). The provider needs to demonstrate
